When I was 32 years old, I was diagnosed with Ebstein Barr Virus. It was a scary and difficult time in my life to try to overcome this illness physically and mentally. I went from being in the best physical shape of my life to struggling to do even the most basic task, like walking to the get the mail. I was exhausted and nauseated. My doctor assured me it would pass in a few weeks and that it had to take its course. A few weeks passed, and I actually felt worse. A family friend recommended that I try acupuncture. Within 2 weeks, my nausea lifted. My energy slowly started to come back. It was a life changing experience. I had to learn more.
